Service status
The four services behind Speakybara and how they are doing right now. None of them stands between you and the app: shooting a frame and copying the text happen entirely on your own PC, and the local Piper voices need no internet either.
The page is rebuilt on the server at most once a minute, so the time above can be up to a minute old.

What each service does, and what happens in the app when it is unavailable.
Managed voices
OperationalThe service that speaks your sentences with Google voices for Speakybara Managed customers. If it is down, the app switches to the free Edge or local voices at the next sentence.

Licence API
OperationalActivating a key and the hourly licence check. The app keeps Managed working offline for up to seven days, so a short outage is invisible.

What breaks, and what does not
Nothing on this page can stop you from shooting a frame and copying the text: recognition runs on your own PC, and the local Piper voices read it aloud without internet. Only the Managed voices depend on the service above.
